International Symposium on Integrated Water Resources Management
On May 23, 2012, the first International Symposium on Integrated Water Resources Management will be held as part of the three-day 1er Rendez-vous sur l’eau conference organized by the Regroupement des Organismes de Bassins Versants du Québec (ROBVQ).
Developed by NANBO and its partners, this project arises from the need to share integrated water resources management experiences at the local, national and international levels. The event will provide an opportunity for major stakeholders in integrated water management in Quebec, North America and throughout the world to meet.
As a regional network of the International Network of Basin Organizations(INBO), NANBO also organizes, on this day, a signing ceremony of the "World Pact for Better Basin Management", initiated by the INBO at the 6th World Water Forum World held in Marseille in March 2012. The organizations present at this special ceremony presided by Mr.Jean-François Donzier, Permanent Technical Secretary of INBO, will have the possibility to join the 69 organizations from all continents that have already signed the Pact of Marseille.
